How I became Krishna conscious

I come from a variety of background and still wonder about my identity.
I was born in Mumbai, India and then for a few years was in Himalayan village where I got introduced to Gods and one of them was Krishna. We as a kid used to worship their favorite God and mine was Krishna for some reason not known to me. Then I moved to Mumbai in childhood and studied. During that time I became close to atheist and only used to believe in OM as para- Brahman.
I had full trust in Sai baba and had visited Shirdi a few times. Then I got opportunity to move to UK in 1998. I still was feeling incomplete. I used to still visit Sai baba temple in Shirdi whenever I visited India. In UK, I started going to Gurudwara and the catholic gathering to look into Bible and also found out about Koran from my Muslim friends. I used internet to know more about Judaism, Sufism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. However, the turning point came when I searched my local ISKCON event in Reading, Berkshire, UK and came to know about an event which used to happen every Friday in Church street. I called the contact person (Dave Edward) and was very impressed with their hospitality. After that I started going to this gathering regularly every Friday.
I had many many questions which the acharyas from Watford provided answers to.
I was vegetarian by birth and after 20 years of age after coming to UK, I started eating meat. Gradually after a few years, I stopped eating meat, even eggs. I started observing Ekadasi and fast fully on Janmashtami.
I had visited Vrindavan once and as it was with non-devotees who were only interested in taking pictures and going back home I was not satisfied. This time I am going to Vrindavan for 3 days alone and really looking forward to it. And today, I met a devotee in the Reading town centre selling Prabhupada books. That made my day.
